Date and Time Select Dropdown issue

I'm experiencing something I put the reservation component on a page and the date and time pickers are all showing without using the input option. I can get them to not show by removing the "ID" for the inputs. I even tried it on a page with on Jquery and the framework extras. I've removed the id=" " from date and time inputs and changed to text input. any kinda help available or suggestions.

Would you like to show date and time input fields without date pickers? Just a plain text field, where the user can fill anything?

You can disable date picker like that:

var $input = $("#date").pickadate();
$input.pickadate("picker").stop();

And time picker like that:

var $input = $("#time").pickatime();
$input.pickatime("picker").stop();

Thank you for your response, that exactly what i had done and changed the date format to avoid errors. I wanted to be able to use the date picker I thought it might have been some javascript that I included in my themes was the cause but after checking that I contacted you. Would like to get that feature working before purchasing units and calendar addons.
