Describe the bug 🐞

1. Install db2s 2.1.2 or newer
2. Run Black Hole (Got 1981) with ANY B2S from VPU or VPF
3. Score fields in backglass load last data from nvram on boot and are then frozen; scores do not update or move. One report of them eventually updating at a very slow rate, but I did not personally encounter that.

Rollbacks to VPM as far back as -720 and VPX as far back as Beta 8 have no effect. Rolling db2s back to 2.1.1 or earlier corrects the problem.

Expected behavior and solution proposal ✅

Unknown regression exists in 2.1.2 forward.

Unfortunately, appears to have just changed the problem. Using the new build, now the score fields start blank and stay blank. Tested this with Blacksad, Cyberpez, and Teamtechnic backglass variants.

Of interest: brand new version made by Khalidibn on VPU DOES work fine. So this seems to be isolated to the more detailed lineage of ones based on (I believe) Teamtechnic's original.
