Vapor is Vue's high-performance subset. Some features in the roadmap might be canceled after discussion, for example, if implementing them affects performance or if they are proven to be poorly designed.

The beta version will be released soon. There is no specific timeline for the stable version yet.

I guess they will share more information at the Vue+Vite DevCon. The time is 08:30 on July 18th (UTC+8).

Congratulations on the RC release, and thank you again for all the hard work ❤️

My only concern is the deprecation of "getCurrentInstance".

Could a core team member clarify whether this is an intentional design decision or an implementation limitation that may be addressed later?

At the moment, there does not seem to be a direct replacement, and without one, certain composable patterns may become impossible or require awkward workarounds.

We’ve discussed this internally, and getCurrentInstance() returning null inside Vapor components is intentional.

We have added an internal useInstanceOption API, but it has not been exposed publicly yet. Could you open a separate issue to track this request, with concrete examples of what existing public APIs cannot cover and why getCurrentInstance() is necessary?
