Anyone know why the VSCode extension performance has fallen off a cliff?

Recently, after either an update to the Vue - Official VSCode extension and/or VSCode itself, the extension has begun freezing up / not responding. If you have VSCode to lint fix on save, it says "Getting code actions from 'Vue - Official'" indefinitely, just freezing. A restart of VSCode usually fixes it, but I'm wondering if this is a known bug.

Sounds to me the linter you are using sends a universal code action request(lint) to all lsps.

Are you using biome? if so, can you see if these helps: biomejs/biome-vscode#229 biomejs/biome#3339.

If not can you check your log/output, see anything weird?

ultimatically, can you try to disable all other extensions but vue to see if it's the root cause?

Does this count as weird? I hadn't looked at Vue Language Server output so I'm not sure:

No, not using Biome. It's definitely the VSCode extension. I've disabled everything else. It just started behaving this way in the last month.

Yeah okay, then my guess is that vscode might changed something in code action execution on file save.

try to use #5127 (comment)

or change vue.codeActions.enabled to false might also can be considered as a work around
