HTML/Pug checkbox (switch) in VSCode

While I was using Volar version < 1.0 there was a checkbox for switching between pug and HTM next to the <template lang="pug"> declaration in VSCode. Can this feature still be configured to work?

Any update? Using pug helps a lot with readability and speeds up when writing large templates.
