slimsearch not working after update

After updating slimsearch to 2.0.0-rc.90 the search isn't working on production server:

slimsearch.worker.js:5  Uncaught ReferenceError: process is not defined
    at slimsearch.worker.js:5:13:

           ^

The dependencies in the package.json are defined as follows:

Is this a bug or have I overlooked or misconfigured something?
