Description
Hi. Sorry for placing this into Issues section as Discussions aren't enabled for this repo. I'm trying to figure which exactly Nylon material will be safe to order CPL MX version from JLC.
I tried previously ordering the original "KLP Lame" MX variant from JLC in "PA12S-HP" MJF Nylon and it turned to be a waste. The keycaps themselves are super nice almost PBT grade feel with very fine roughness but the accuracy is terrible. The MX stem cross-shaped cutouts are super uneven and narrower than they should be. Will not fit a standard MX stem, not a single one out of entire 40 piece set.
I tried comparing CLP vs original KLP STLs and the MX stem shaft is the same dimension, albeit a bit shorter vertically. Which means CLP will have the same MX shaft issue as KLP if printed in JLC "PA12S-HP" MJF Nylon.
Hence the question: has anyone successfully printed MX version in MJF Nylon with JLC? And if so which exactly MJF Nylon type worked? JLC print in three types of MJF Nylon: PA11-HP, PA12-HP and PA12S-HP. The last one PA12S-HP not worked for MX variant...
There is a picture in readme of SLS Nylon print. JLC is listing SLS Nylon tolerance as 0.3mm which is same MJF Nylon. So a bit puzzled why SLS Nylon worked for MX stem shafts but PA12S not. Any experience with these anyone?
Thanks
