Sorry, I can't understand what's the problem. The images look quite similar for me.
On a separate note, why aren't they textured?

This is the model after I bake at 16K and set Bake Margin to 0, and Adjacent faces in Renderer (Cycles)

I understand the textures will be lower quality - but curious what all these crease lines are in the bake and how to get rid of them?

Unfortunately I can't propose a solution right now. I'll do some experiments with baking settings.

No worries - thanks for your attention.

If I change bake settings by clicking on the tile object, then render, then set to cycles render, and mess around with bake settings - then come back to your blosm tool, and set the texture map size and hit bake - will it respect the settings I just changed in the other panel?

also is there anyway to get larger texture maps above 16k?

No, the baking options are set in the Blosm code.

I've never tried it. 16k is already quite large.
