Description

Describe the issue
Not a real issue, just feedback about active elements. The yellow color feels out of place in the color palette of the website and the strong bold border clutters it a little bit the space.

Recommended solution
My personal preference would be something more subtle but still recognizable with good contrast (see the active button "Standards" in the image below):

Hi @relu91

The yellow background with bold border was chosen as the focus style for the site based on the focus style used in the GOVUK Design System, and has been tested to ensure it meets colour contrast requirements.

If users feel strongly about it we could swap the yellow for a shade of blue, such as that proposed in the image you have provided, however the bold border would still be required as the blue alone is unlikely to have sufficient contrast against the white page background.

I have added a "UX feedback" label and recommend that we leave things as they are for now and await further feedback during the Beta site testing.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I see your points it was just random feedback from a regular user of the website 😃 . Let's see what others think.
