Description
I've found showing a quick list of tools to be helpful for designers to associate with a disability to
- show them how people use the web and
- give them a place to experiment with these tools on their sites.
I'm not advocating referencing specific tools, but something like this could go a long way to help people make these connections:

As someone who needs reading assistance I might use one or a combination of the following tools:

Screen readers to hear what I'm seeing, so that I can understand it

Captions for videos so that I can read what I'm hearing so that I can understand it

Dictation software so that I can enter data into forms quickly

Browser extensions and typefaces specifically made for my disability. These tailor the appearance of sites to take advantage of how I think and see things.
