I see that this hasn't been updated for years, but in the off chance @waltmoorhouse is still monitoring, is there any chance this can be updated to use MQTT variables rather than pulling from USB? I have a Gratkit filament dryer that I'm trying to integrate directly into Octoprint, and this would be a good start.
