Have to click "Preferences" Several Times in the DevDocs Pane in Order for it to Work

Describe the bug
When you click "Preferences" whilst on the DevDocs pane, nothing happens. Opening the menu and repeatedly trying to click "Preferences" will eventually work.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the app
2. Click the "DevDoc" pane at the top
3. Click the three-dot drop-down on the top-ride side of the pane.
4. Click "Preferences"

Additionally, none of the other options in this menu seem to work at all.

Expected behavior
Preferences should be able to be configured each time when you click the button.
