How to restore the resolution of the built-in display after using the software

Hi there - simply unclick the relevant options (for the display under Settings/Displays and apply the configuration, Apply and then reboot when instructed.

If you want to manually reset everything follow this: #191. If you only want to remove display configuration overrides (as I suspect) you only need to do step 6 and reboot.

(btw the System Preferences resolution selector is somewhat unreliable, that's why you see a wrong default set of resolution options when custom resolutions are added or native smooth scaling is enabled. This is normal - you can use the app's resolution selector or menu to switch resolutions with these features enabled.)
