HiDPI Resolutions aren't applying (2015 Intel MBP)

Currently have a 2015 15" Macbook Pro connected via HDMI to my BenQ EX2780Q 27" 1440p monitor. The HiDPI resolutions show up, but clicking on them do nothing and my screen remains the same.

Hi there - do you see these HiDPI resolutions in System Preferences / Displays?

On Intel it is possible that you need to enter the following command to enable HiDPI resolutions as well (in Terminal):

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver DisplayResolutionEnabled -bool YES

but if you already see HiDPI resolutions then something else might be the problem.

Thank you! Can you try the following?

1. Revert changes (disable HiDPI) using one-key-hidpi
2. Reboot and see if there is no HiDPI activated
3. Try enabling native smooth scaling in the existing v1.3.1-beta version of BetterDisplay and reboot
4. Make sure that even though LoDPI resolutions are accessible, HiDPI resolutions still do not work
5. Disable native smooth scaling in v1.3.1-beta and reboot
6. Make sure things are again baseline (no custom resolutions, no HiDPI)
7. Try enabling native smooth scaling with the v1.3.2 interim build attached below + reboot
8. Check whether custom HiDPI resolutions work and the scalable resolution slider works in HiDPI

To reduce the pain level of the process, you can skip steps 3-6, those are optional and there just for baseline testing. :)

Just tried v1.3.2 and can confirm it is now working! All HiDPI resolutions are applying through the app and display menu.
