USB input not switching with shortcut keys, (but works using DDC input Source menu)

I have a Dell P3421 monitor with multiple video inputs, (MacBook connected to USB-C & a Windows PC connected to HDMI). When I use the BetterDisplayPro drop down menu, DDC Input Source - HDMI 1, both video & USB inputs switch over correctly.
When using Shortcut keys, (Ctrl+Shift+M), the video input switches however the USB input does not, (I need to manually unplug and plug the USB keyboard and mouse). It seems to be a minor bug, hoping this can be fixed in the next release....?

Hmm. I am not sure what could be the difference, both the keyboard shortcut and the app menu uses the exact same DDC command to switch input source. Input source specific KVM functionality (USB) is entirely managed by the display (it's a manufacturer specific feature), BetterDisplay is not sending any special commands to configure that feature.

Thanks for your response. I've tried multiple times today after installing the latest update & there's no doubt that the shortcut keys do not enable the USB ports to switch over on monitor, yet through the top menu does work. Are there some logs I can send to you that might shed some light on the problem...?
Dell Display Manager on the Windows side works perfectly - keyboard and mouse work immediately after switching back to my Mac on the USB-C input. I really appreciate any help you can provide as I purchased this app primarily for the shortcut keys.

I have the same issue. Switching via the menu works, but not via shortcut. BetterDisplay on Mac can detect the shortcut if I assign it to another action such as "Increase Brightness", but it does not work for the input source switch.
