Cannot see login screen form #2961
-
Hi, I'm using BetterDisplay to create two higher-resolution virtual displays and mirror those to my Mac's inbuilt monitor and an external display. Everything works great except that I cannot see the login screen. I know the screen is there in the background because when I type my password in and hit enter I'm logged in, I just can't see the actual form. The other day Apple also released an update that prompted to setup card details before logging in, this was very difficult to navigate without being able to see the form. I managed to work around it by disconnecting and re-connecting my monitor several times. The card details form was visible for a split second as BetterDisplay refreshed. Is there something I've missed in the setup? |

Hi there, if you are streaming virtual screens to your main display, you can try configuring this to automatically disconnect the virtual screen where the display is locked: ![]() |

Thanks for this! The setting is pretty obvious, but there are so many I did not see it |
