Display power setting keeps on after macOS wake up #2989
-
I have one of my four external displays turned off most of the time (physically and logically in the app). But quite often BetterDisplay does not keep its power setting off after macOS wake up. Display stays off (switched to another input than MacBook), but BD has it on, what makes an invisible display under macOS, and I need to turn BD power setting off manually to bring displays setup as it should be. What's happening that BD does not keep this display off on MacBook wake up? |

Not entirely sure. You can try launching the app using -v (using the full path to the app binary in Terminal) and see the console log output to figure out what on how BetterDisplay is handling the displays. To me it seems like the display reports itself as active and connects even though it's on a different input. You can set BetterDisplay to disconnect reconnected displays on wake under connection management settings. |
