BetterDisplay menu bar icon not showing

I no longer see the betterdisplay menu bar icon

Hi there, try to relaunch the app and use the "App Menu" at the bottom-left corner to show the app menu. It might be set to hidden (see Menu/Show app icon...) or removed by some third party app or have no room for it to show.

hi, I tried that. I also made sure to remove other icons to see if it would show, but no luck. I've tried restarting computer and deleting and reinstalluing app with no luck

I got it now,...how can I keep it running, but not show up on the dock?

If you close the Settings, then the dock should go away, the app should remain in the menu bar. But if you don't want the Dock icon at all, you should go to Settings/Application/Notifications and Dock and then disable the dock (set it to show "Never").
