I have some of the following Color Modes:
I don't know what the star icon mean, but this was selected by default and is reset to it on Mac restart. I want RGB Full Range for my Samsung TV (HDMI) which I already set to act as Monitor instead TV to fix Mac Screen Mirroring bug which Apple introduced with 15.2. I'm new on Mac (Mac mini M4) and see that Apple is really bad on external 3rd party monitors/TVs. No problems on Windows btw (without advertising it). Great that this tool exists, but bad that we need to hack to fix Apple faults. My screen is sometimes flickering to black (signal lost) because it seems that Mac is doing some useless display stuff in the background without any legit reason. Sometimes it's stable for hours, sometimes it flickers multiple times within minutes. Argh, whatever... I wonder why is the color mode reset to YCbCr? How to set this permanently? Is it possible to implement that, if not already exist in this tool? |

Yes, the star is the default selected by the system. You should be using the Configuration Protection to protect the current Color Mode (meaning the app will auto-set it whenever the system select the wrong one).
