Hi there - the lack of resolutions beyond 3072px HiDPI is a limitation of the M4 mini with ultrawides with this native resolution. The only way around this right now is to create a virtual screen and mirror it to your display. |

I have a Dell P3421W with a native resolution of 3440x1440@60hz connected to a MacMini M4 via either USB-C or HDMI. The Mac detects the native resolution, but following the wiki instructions to enable scaling, the HiDPI toggle in the menu drops the resolution to 3062x1282. I have in work a Philips 32 inch widescreen with the same native resolution, and the toggle on that device keeps at the native resolution, but the hiDPI rendering clearly is enabled.
Is this something wrong in settings, better display, or a limitation of the monitor itself?
