Ok, so Sequoia 15.3 introduced some changes when handling TV-s (it provides an option to mirror the screen, a window or use the TV as an extended display). You can configure the display role to be "Computer Monitor" under the app's Configuration Override section under the display's settings in the app to fix this. Btw are you sure you are using HDMI, not AirPlay mirroring by accident? |

Since updating to Sequoia 15.3.1, I cannot use BetterDisplay. These are some issues I encounter when the application is active. For reference, I have a MBP M1 Max connected to an LG webOS 65":
– After wake, the screen is all fine static, no image. I've never seen this before.
– I plug in the HDMI and am given a screen showing the airplay icon instructing me to choose the display in Settings (implying a screencast as the only option, with correlary lower picture fidelity.
– Previously available parameter, like refresh rate, are no longer user-adjustable.
– Previously unavailable underscan slider in Settings is now available
– My mac recognizes its main display, my LGTV, and the airplay LGTV, and never will let the HDMI LGTV be the Main Display.
– Previously available UHD is not visible in the menu and understood to not be available according to Display Information
– Changing color mode in Settings or in Better Display app elicit 0 change in picture.
– Color is never how it used to be calibrated.
This has been a huge headache, and I'm not sure what to do. At this point I am considering wiping my computer.
