It should probably change the default resolution to 1440p if you create a virtual screen and set it that way. You can also use the built-in high performance virtual screen I think as both are Apple Silicon Macs. |

Thank you for the quick response, @waydabber! Both are Apple Silicon, but the built-in high performance virtual screen still defaults to 1080. Would I need the pro version of BetterDisplay to create a 1440 virtual screen? |

No. Just create a 16:9 virtual screen. Also the app has 14-day trial anyway so all features are available for free to try. |

I have a headless M4 Mac Mini. I connect using the Screen Sharing app on a Mac Studio with 1440p monitors. If I install BetterDisplay on the Mini, will it allow me to change the default resolution to 1440p? Or would I still have a 1080p default when connecting through the Screen Sharing app? I am trying to avoid having to manually change the resolution each time I connect.
