Merging "Duplicate" Monitors

When I swap between full-screen and PBP mode, the monitor appears as a "duplicate" monitor in BetterDisplay. This seems to be caused by the monitor and/or OS assigning it a different UUID.

Is it possible to "merge" the duplicate entries into a single one? I have some extensive settings, and duplicating things across the duplicated entries isn't ideal.

I did try using Basic Display Identification using (vendor, model, serial) which is preserved (only thing that seems to change is UUID), but that didn't work.

Yes, you should try different identification methods. If the UUID changes then I think the serial or vendor number changed so you should try "Match name" for example if that does not change.
