OSD positioning on full screen application

There is offset from top even when no menu bar is visible in full screen. Native volume OSD is aligned correctly. BetterDisplay OSD is below as it there was still a menu bar. Here is the screenshot with both native and app OSDs:

Hi there - this is intentional in BetterDisplay. The positioning of the native macOS Tahoe was changing a lot during betas - the way it is pushed to the very corner in 26.1 is probably more of a bug than a feature, some of the half-baked stuff still present in Tahoe as the UI is evolving. Tahoe 26.2 changed this again, in full screen the OSD is shown in the center horizontally and vertically where BetterDisplay was putting it (so as if the menu bar would be there). If you are running BetterDisplay v4.1.1 on Tahoe 26.2 or newer, the app conforms to that practice and moves the OSD to the center-top in full screen apps or when the menu bar is hidden.

In case you want a unified volume and brightness control presentation, I recommend configuring the app to provide the audio OSD (you can configure it to handle the OSD for all audio outputs, including those that are natively controlled). This gives you more consistency.
