SMPTE 2110 or Desktop polling?

Curious if you have any SMPTE 2110 support in your plans? Or the ability to poll the desktop buffer directly in-process?

I have some plans about adding streaming capabilities (there are some enhancement issues about it), but it's not something I'll be working on anytime soon I think, as there are a lot of great solutions there already.

I don't think there is a way to directly access the composited desktop/video buffer directly on modern macOS, the only modern way Apple provides is ScreenCaptureKit - but this is available for all, so anybody can implement a solution that runs alongside BetterDisplay.

Thanks! Are you able to share some alternatives/solutions for capturing a desktop at a custom resolution and packaging it as smpte 2110 for rtp over udp? I'll have a look at ScreenCaptureKit as well.

ScreenCaptureKit will help you with getting video frames but packaging them and sending as SMPTE 2110 might be challenging. I am not sure if a proper macOS library/implementation exists for that. Let me know if you find something!
