Hi there - this is probably an accessibility permissions issues. Try removing the app from the accessibility permission list and re-adding it under System Settings's Privacy & Security section, maybe the permission database got corrupted during the update. |

Issue Description
The brightness/volume control of an external display using the native keys suddenly stopped working.
Environment Details
macOS: Tahoe 26.2
BetterDisplay: v4.1.1
I have no idea when/how it suddenly stopped working. I had disabled auto start on login for a bit but apart from that I made no changes to any settings. Not sure if this correlates to update to 26.2 Tahoe. Looking for help on troubleshooting/debugging. I've done the basics of power cycling and disabling/re-enabling the settings.
