Hi there - it seems you are using an M1 mac that has a Pro (or Max/Ultra) chip inside. These support a max. HiDPI width of 3840 (7680 pixels). This is a problem especially for 5K ultrawide users as there is a gap between 4K and 5K horizontal resolutions (5K being available as LoDPI only). See this for more info: #735 For the time being if you want HiDPI resolutions with width exceeding 3840, you have to use the dummy mirroring approach (with all its shortcomings). |

Hi, I recently tried to switch from using a Dummy to the new-ish custom resolutions.
Using a Dummy I'm able to set my resolution to
3968x1674for example. However when enabling custom resolutions the max it seems to allow me to set is3840x1620despite having added the3968x1674resolution manually as a custom resolution.Potentially related to this as well, I also tried to set a custom range for the smooth resolution scaling but the menu is still showing me options outside of the specified range.
Custom Resolution Setup
Desired Resolution Showing for Dummy
Desired Resolution Absent on Display
