For a mcq question, if the json file is edited such that the answer is a integer greater than the total number of options it is impossible to get the correct answer

Hello! Thank you for raising this issue that you have faced when manipulating our json data file.

Firstly, I would like to say that for our implementation, the answer is not based on an integer and the total number of options.

Secondly, the answer that you have pointed out is not an integer, but a string. How it works in our logic is that the option that you have picked from choice will have to match exactly with the answer that is specified.

For example:

Based on the screenshot that you have provided, it is correct behaviour of QuickCache and for you to not be able to get the correct anwer because you did not add the answer '5' as one of the options.

In addition, modifying the json data file, according to Prof Damith is for advanced users only and "it's fine as long as the user can recover by reverting the change to the file and restarting the application". We will thus be rejecting this issue and downgrading the severity to VeryLow because it is bound to only affect advanced users and does not affect functionality.

Reason for disagreement: The issue that you have raised was addressing to the person who has modified the application width and height of the application to an unreasonable size (1.0E7). However in my bug reports I have raised with regards to the json files, even though i might have exagerated the examples, there is still a very likely chance that the user might have made a certain typo with the edit or the json file getting corrupted.

such as the edit below
choices : ["bubble tea", "oxygen", "iphone", "pepsi"]
answer: "oxgyen"

From the advance user point of view, he might be well verse will java but he can still be unsure of how the application works, hence the application should be able to parse the json file properly to ensure that the answer sepcified must match with at least one of the choices. Instead of allowing the invalid edit, the application should have an error to indicate the certain edit the user has made to the answer was invalid. So it should still be considered as a bug?
