The dropdown component crashes after several clicks on the `Clear` button

Description
The Dropdown component crashes completely after several clicks on the clear button. It also makes the view crash, forcing a redirect out of the view.

The component does not come back to its common state until the window is refreshed (F5).

It's unclear the purpose of this button. As a starting point for this issue, this purpose must be discovered, and then decide whether the button is kept. In that case, a fix must be provided.

Also, investigate if this behaviour happens on other sections of the App where this component is used.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Configuration < Index
2. Click on the clear button several times.
3. Enjoy destruction.
