Enable realtime updates

I was looking for a notification package e.g. to alert the admin that there is new stuff happening, your package is a good start, is there a way to have a near realtime update without interacting with the page? coming from the websockets world i think livewire should aloow some polling every few seconds?

I'm currently working on a real-time feature using laravel's broadcast but I'll do an update to add basic polling.

I'd love this as well, as it makes a great tool for alerting users about scheduled/queued stuff happening in the background.

Just a thought: adding "wire:poll" to the wrapping DIV statement does refresh the list of notifications. However, it doesn't seem to update the count of unread notifications, even though they are definitely unread.
