Etckeeper integration with Timeshift

It would be incredibly valuable to be able to integrate Timeshift with Etckeeper. Essentially each commit made using the apt package install hooks can also create a new snapshot of the system in Timeshift. The snapshot name and description should point to the commit associated with the changes. Of course the hook should not synchronously wait for the snapshot to be taken but either schedule it or trigger it asynchronously.

The same can occur with any etc commit not necessarily involving a package installation.

This provides a really nice way to associate snapshots of the system with their associated configuration changes.

What do you think?

Is there some facility where this can easily be added?
