How do I make default header transparent?

Hey,

how do I make the header of the home assistant transparent as shown in the theme screenshots?

Also mine chip cards are not getting the transparent effect

This should be working by default on both light and dark theme.

Are you running the most recent version 1.1.9 and do you have card-mod installed from HACS ?

Beautiful dashboard by the way ! Love the humidity and temp, might steal that one :)

There is a chance that HA still saves cache from previous versions where blur was not being applied. I'd try to suggest reinstalling the theme (fully removing and installing, restarting HA) and on PC go to dev options F12 and long press on reload page button and click clear cache.

I have tested this on my Pixel 9a, old Lenovo tablet that I have on wall and also Chrome and Edge and everything is working correctly besides already known issues.

Also if possible try to check for any recent HA updates (even tho this theme is running fine on older versions as well but we have to make sure there is nothing wrong on your end) :)

That's interesting, even when I uninstalled your Theme in HACS and rebooted the HA. I still can chose your theme in a theme selection. Even after I cleared frontend cache in iOS HA app it is still selectable and applicable.

Ok, found the root cause. I had it manually installed prior to HACS. Now after manually removing files from theme folder everything is working as intended. Thanks

Yep I wanted to point out that you probably have to manually remove it from themes file. Glad it works now :) Now what about your dashboard? 😅 Is that a bubble card separator ? + What do you use for the temp and humidity ?

Yeah, that's a Bubble separator card with sub buttons. for temp and humidity I just use sub-buttons with conditional coloring
