Typescript / Linter doesnt like publicClient?

Using viem 1.19.11, when i instantiate a PublicClient object, typescript does not seem to be able to find the majority of functions associated with it, such as getBlockNumber, readContract, etc. But I can confirm that when I run the code, it does indeed work. Why am I getting these typescript issues? I attached an image to show my issue, please let me know if you need any more info from me.
