Cannot see any devices to cast movies to Chromecast

I noticed that Lineage 17.1 doesn't seem to work when it comes to playing a video to Chromecast.
I enable casting from the pull down menu at the top and try to find any devices to send the movie to and no devices can be found is the result even though I can get it to work on a different device running Android.
Is there a fix for this?

I don't have a Chromecast capable device, so I can't test unfortunately. WiFi display is helplessly broken, thanks to how it is implemented by Samsung, but that should be a different issue.
