Getting Started maintenance

I followed the steps in limn/README and in limn-data/README and have not found the dashboards/sample data yet.

Also, the Getting Started wiki page is very discouraging, cos it's like, "Surprise! Go install some other crap and use this as middleware."

I've updated https://github.com/wikimedia/limn-data/blob/master/README.md to make things a bit clearer. If I execute the steps exactly as described, I can browse to the sample dashboard link provided. If you have specific issue with that, please let us know. As for your frustration with Getting Started, I feel your pain because that page is out of date. We are adding a few features and will spend some time polishing up the documentation (but that may not happen for a while). If you would like to help with that effort, you would have our everlasting gratitude. Also a small note: please refrain from using potentially incendiary words like "crap". Thank you :)
