Update an entity in HA only when the register changes:

Ideally the read only values ie "RO Timed Charge Start Hours" will only update "Timed Charge Start Hours". When the RO value changes and not on the next poll cycle.
When they update on each poll cycle it makes it impossible to update many entities when using write_registers at the moment you have to disconnect the entities, so you don't get any feedback if you make changes on the Inverter.

Time entities

At the moment (HA 2023.5.x) there is no proper support for date or time's in Integrations. This will change with HA 2023.6.x
The various methods of setting time at the moment need converting from number and selects to proper time input.

Similar to the flag for setting WRITE_SINGLE_MODBUS or WRITE_MULTISINGLE_MODBUS we will need one for how to write time to the Inverter, at present we have the following scenarios:

• write to adjacent registers. ie Hours = register 0, Mins = register 1
• write to adjacent registers. ie Hours = register 0, Mins = register 1. But using "write_method = WRITE_DATA_LOCAL," followed with a button press with "write_method = WRITE_MULTI_MODBUS,"
• write Hours to upper 8 bit, write Mins to lower 8 bit
• write Mins to upper 8 bit, write Hours to lower 8bit
