Steps:

• configure the memory cache on Services: services.AddMemoryCache();
• Inject it with DI: [FromServices]IMemoryCache cache
• Get the cached data or set it with GetOrCreate: (SlidingExpiration or AbsoluteExpirationRelativeToNow to control the cache expiration)
