issue with expanding windows in kde when draged to borders?

hello,
i have a dual screen setup, and this issue is quite recurring for me. i want to drag the winapps window to the upper side of the screen (that in kde puts it full screen) but in difference to all other programs where this behavior is respected, with winapps windows (MS office windows etc) when i do this, the window is expanded to the two screens at the same time (as if it was only one big screen, so half in one screen half in the other). obviously this is quite annoying and complicate to work with, specially when my second screen is the one from the laptop so the difference between the two screen is quite big. is there a solution for this?
I have kde 6 in x server session right now.

I created an issue some time ago but no answer was given... #450 would love to find a solution if it exists.
