Windows Inking Support

Hey,
Windows Inking (Stylus support, pen-pressure, hovering, multipoint touch, palm-rejection) is not working. On the server-site it works out of the box (tested with Windows Client on stock VM (Docker). Pen-Support is a optional feature of Windows RDP. FreeRDP Appears to support Stylus input in principle. Maybe it is easily activatable but would appreciate support with that.

Did you check the manual for a flag enabling stylus support?

I briefly looked in the FreeRDP man but there was at least no apparent option.

Well, then FreeRDP probably doesn't support it.

FreeRDP does have references to pen support in its source. I found this definition as part of whats named 'gdi'. I dont know how to activate it and cant find documentation.

Edit: Is WinApps using wlFreeRDP or xFreeRDP. If latter, it may very well be that inking works out of the box. I'm running Gnome (Wayland) here.

Winapps uses the X version of whatever is installed on your system, since wlfreerdp is not feature complete

Hey, so did you accomplish anything new?
I encountered the same problem but compiling the xfreerpd3 from source with the supposed flag enabled did not work at all.
At the moment the Windows vm does recognize pen input AND touch input at the same time, resulting in a wierd fast switching between mousepointer and pen-input in OneNote.
