Can winapps run apps with screen sharing feature (like ms teams) ?

Hi

I'm evaluating if winapps can help me replace my win11 main os.

I'm concerned by the Microsoft teams compatibility, especially by its screen sharing feature.

Because teams would run inside the vm, I guess it won't have access to the physical desktop? It is actually not aware that it's run inside a vm at all, is it?

Am I right to suppose that?
Has anyone yet tried?

No, this is not possible. However, especially for Teams you can use a web client or a 3rd party client, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Using MS Teams from a web browser (PWA) works, thought I loose some features like opening multiple conversation in child windows, etc...
It's not related to winapps thought.

You mean alternative service, or alternative software that runs on top of teams protocol ?

iirc there are clients which build on top of the web version to provide a nicer experience
