I know this might be a dumb question, but i'w been daily driving Linux on my desktop for many years now, going back would just be such a letdown to be honest...

I noticed some apps on here that would really make my days better :) not that setting it up with podman sounds hard BUT i reacently built myself a "windows" machine that i use to stream games from when they refuse to work on linux... would it be possible to follow the libvrt guide but use a dedicated machine instead?

Or does the VM way come with requirements that winapps really need?

Yes. Set the mode to manual mode and the IP to your windows machine's IP inside the winapps config. Just make sure to make all the setup changes in the libvirt guide on your physical machine, e.g. installing the registry files
