Auto Adding a tag of annotation type in pdf reader

Hello,
Is it possible to get the event to be creating a specific type of annotation (for example: select area) and then add the operation of adding a related tag (for example: *image) . This can be helpful in filtering annotations according to their type as zotero currently only allows filtering according to colors.
