Did you test using the latest Detox?

• I have tested this issue on the latest Detox release and it still reproduces.

Did your test fail and you're not sure why?

• I have read the troubleshooting guide and it didn't help me.

What happened?

Sometimes after refresh (e.g. device.launchApp()) - emulator stuck on home screen. And there is no way to press home button. This behaviour is not predictable.

What was the expected behaviour?

Do not lock the screen or be able to press the Home button.

Help us reproduce this issue!

It hapesn randomly after device.launchApp, device.reloadReactNative()

I can confirm that a few times I noticed the same, by the way. Could you send a detox.trace.json log (turn on --record-logs all) from artifacts folder when this happens?

unfortunately still can't reproduce, with logs (will try later) but found similar issue #3967

If you use accessibility inspector application, it may be the root cause, or if you want to reproduce it, just open that application and it will happen for you.
