Does it have basic animations

Hey so i was wondering does it have any basic window animation like slide or fade like stuff, if not is there anyway i can make one using scripts or as a extension 🤔

Nope, I certainly haven't coded anything like that (I never used them in Openbox, so it wasn't on the top of my list). It's basically tinywl with support for some useful protocols (like layer-shell, primary-selection, and data-control). I don't work on it much, which I know is unfortunate, because it seems that wlroots has now mostly stabilized (I remember in the past, large amount of the code had to be rewritten between wlroots versions, but you can compile the latest Git in wlroots 0.19 or the 0.20 RC, without any conditional compilation).
