Selected checkboxes lack checkmark icons in Player Notification settings

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Open the app and navigate to Settings.
2. Go to the Notifications settings to find the Player notification menu.
3. Locate the list of notification actions (First action button, Second action button, etc.).
4. Observe the checkboxes on the right side of the screen for the currently selected actions

Expected behavior

When a checkbox is selected, it should be filled with the theme color and display a checkmark icon inside the square, matching the standard upstream NewPipe UI and providing clear visual feedback.

Actual behavior

The selected checkboxes are rendered as solid, blank colored blocks (as seen with the squares in the attached screenshot) without any internal checkmark iconography.

Thanks for the clear report and screenshot.

This was caused by the custom Player notification action rows using the platform CheckBox with framework button tinting, which can render incorrectly on older Android versions and hide the checkmark.

I’ve pushed a fix that switches this checkbox to AppCompatCheckBox and uses compat button tinting instead:

This should restore the normal checked state with the visible checkmark on Android 8.1 and similar older versions. The fix will be included in the next release.
