Specifying a prop in version 0.8

I am using version .8. I can only get props={%{toastName: "toast name"} to work in a heex template. I thought toastName="toast name" was supposed to work in this version. Perhaps I misunderstood.

You need to: use LiveSvelte.Components

I was trying to do that before I created this post, but I’m getting an error when I add use LiveSvelte.Components anywhere. I seem to be having some sort of macro conflict.

Hmm ok interesting. Currently I'm doing some other work so don't want to focus on this too much, but this looks like a bug. If you manage to fix it feel free to create a PR!

This is a bug in another project.

With that bug fixed in a different library (Pyro), I am still not able to send props to Svelte components using their names.

Also, slots don't work when I use the <.svelte-filename > convention. Slots work when I use the <.svelte > component. I know that slots aren't supported by LiveSvelte but, well, for some reason they work with the .svelte component. 🤷

Either I'm not putting use LiveSvelte.Components in the right place -- I put it in MyApp_web.ex -- or dead views aren't supported. Or that other library (Pyro) is causing side-effects and breaking LiveSvelte.

At any rate, I can continue using the old way.

I think dead views might not be supported for that. Have you tried to add the following?

<app>_web.ex

  def controller do
    quote do
      # ...
      import LiveSvelte
      # ...
    end
  end

Haven't tested it myself though
