Description:
This Epic encompasses all the necessary work to fully implement the Demonology specialization for the MoP expansion. This includes updating or adding Go backend logic for abilities, talents, gear interactions, and simulation settings, as well as developing the corresponding frontend components for managing the spec's configuration and displaying relevant information.

Goals:

  • Basic simulation accuracy for MoP encounters based on available data (e.g., PTR, official sources, community analysis, old simc reference).
  • Complete frontend integration for configuring spec specific settings (talents, presets, apl, etc.).
  • Successful execution of simulations

Backend Tasks:

  • Research and Data Gathering for MoP Abilities/Talents
  • Implement Core Abilities and Rotations
  • Implement Talent Tree and Choices
  • Integrate MoP Gear Effects (Tier Sets)
  • Update/Verify Stat Scaling and Interactions
  • Implement Buff/Debuff Interactions
  • (Optional) Add Configuration Options to Simulation Settings
  • Develop/Refine APL (Action Priority List)
  • Write Unit and Integration Tests

Frontend Tasks:

  • Update Configuration UI
  • (Optional) Display Spec-Specific Simulation Output (For new Resources)
  • Check/Update Talent Tree Visualization and Selection
  • Update and register proper presets for P1
  • Publish as Alpha
