Writing Tool version 26.1 does not work with Libreoffice version 26.2.0.2

Writing Tool version 26.1 does not work with Libreoffice Writer version 26.2.0.2, and posts a dialog box with something about using settings for Writing Tools and not LibreOffice and says LibreOffice must restart with an "OK" (button) - but thereafter nothing happens . . . no restart happens.

If you do restart manually the same error appears.

Kindly check this.

I have now reverted back to WT v.25.10 while using LO v. 26.2.02 and all works perfectly.

Awaiting news about this bug fix and/or a newer updated version of Writing Tool.

Since version 26.1, WritingTool checks the settings in LibreOffice and adjusts them if necessary to ensure proper functionality. I just installed and tested version 26.2.0.2 on Windows. It works perfectly with WT 26.4-Snapshot.
Check the necessary settings. You can find them here: https://writingtool.org/index.php/en/writingtool-en/requirements.
Change them manually if necessary.
Please provide feedback if you get it running.

Regretably, WT 26.4-Snapshot was downloaded and installed by me on LO Writer 26.2.0.2, but the same issue occurred, as I had earlier reported regarding WT 26.1 malfunction with LO Writer 26.2.0.2 - with the same error pop-up dialog box etc.

When I reverted to WT 25.10, LO Writer 26.2.0.2 worked and responded well again.

This is my experience. Taking another look at the WT 26.1 as well as the WT 26.4-Snapshot code would be a prudent thing to do. That is my humble opinion.
