Can JSONRequestParser/ResponseWriter be pulled into their own jar?

I have a project using Balana and need to be able to handle JSON requests as well as XML, but there doesn't appear to be an easy way to access these classes except through the war file (which I'd rather avoid). Obviously I can extract the files myself, although keeping it current would be annoying.
