Profile Unification: Multiple Master Profile Creation - Design Decision Review

During complex profile unification scenarios, the current implementation creates multiple master profiles in a cascading manner. When temporary user profiles are unified, the system exhibits the following behavior:

1. Initial merge: When 2 temporary profiles with matching attributes are created, a master profile (Master1) is created
2. Subsequent profile merge: When a new profile is created that matches the existing 2 profiles, another master profile (Master2) is created which combines:
   • The first 2 profiles
   • The previous master profile (Master1)
   • The newly created profile
